Angelica Perez is currently a Spanish teacher at UVA. After working in various capacities in public schools with special needs students, it gave her the opportunity to interact with children of various backgrounds and ability levels. Her determination to see children succeed in every area of their lives motivated her to be constantly pursuing different ways to improve her practice, seeking every opportunity to grow in a professional manner by taking staff development classes. This is why she went back to school. Angelica once again chose to advance her own career. She is now a busy graduate student. Education is an important concept in general. It is not about money, it’s about caring of people with unconditional love and tolerance.
